Reading is Very Important in Our Family!

Chris and Cody (trying to) calm Abigail and Riley down after decorating the Christmas tree at Noi and Pop's house. Abigail only decorated one corner of the tree, so there are about ten ornaments on one branch :) !

Abigail's 1st Haircut

Yep, at 2 years 8 months, Abigail finally got her 1st haircut!! Andrea at Bangz in Fredericksburg did a great job. How did a very squirmy little girl ever sit still?? A bag of lollipops!! I don't think we'll be waiting quite that long with Isaac. I bet he'll have his first haircut before his 1st birthday.Last shot of her long hair

The before for both of us

Lollipop #1

The 1st cut is made! Does Abigail care...Nope! Lollipop in place!

After!! We both love out new haircuts

More Pictures!!!

Yep, so I'm posting just a FEW pictures, but what can I say?? My kids have been super photogenic the last few weeks :) Just imagine the # of pictures if I actually had a really good camera...EEK!!

Just a little static after jumping on the trampoline

Spinning with Riley
I did not do this to his hair. It was like this for 2 straight days

Let's see -- after Abigail had her 1st bath, she decided to put Vick's Baby Rub on by herself. She put about 1/4 of the container, so onto the 2nd bath. Then this picture happened. She decided to experiment with shaving cream while I was drying her hair.

Playing in the garden at while Daddy & Pops talked about basketball...boring!!!
I just couldn't resist posting this grin

Playing with dishes and cups & Noi's house

Trick or Treating!!

Abigail had a blast Trick or Treating! She was very nervous for the 1st couple houses, but after that, she settled into a routine of me ringing the doorbell & me saying trick or treat. She would say Trick or Treat while we were still in the street, but not up at the house. When we got to the end of the street, Abigail said "More houses!! More Houses!!" But then, when we got back to the house, she was just as happy to pass out candy. She gave out handfuls of lollipops at a time and would yell for the kids to come up to her house - "KIDS, KIDS!!! I HAVE LOLLIPOPS FOR YOU!!!"

Abigail's friend Will. Doesn't this look like one of those old black & white photos where the girl is playing hard to get?

Isaac "kissing" Mommy...looks more like he's trying to gouge out my eyes, but nope it's a kiss.

Abigail & Chris carved Abigail very first pumpkin the night before Halloween. She was in charge of drawing the face & scooping out the insides. Good thing Abigail loves to get messy :)

Halloween Party

These are from the Halloween party at Chris's work. Abigail was so excited to go ( as you can see)!! She had a great time and was so patient even though there were almost 500 people there & she had to wait in line. It must have been the desire for candy that made her so patient. She loved playing the games & at every chance to pick candy chose a lollipop. We must have 100 lollipops now.

Getting a pumpkin

This morning we went to Wright's Market to get pumpkins and it was an absolute blast. Tonight before bed, Abigail said, "I had a FUN day!!" Wright's reminds me a little bit of going to Belvedere when I was little and working there as a teen. It's not as big though, but it has a neat market, hayrides, goats that you can pet, & a mini maze for kids. Abigail loved the mini maze (it was made out of hay bales)! She came running out of it saying, "It did it! I did it!!" She was so proud of herself.

What a cheese ball standing in front of the big ruler. Guess we'll see how big she is next year.

This was Abigail's favorite part of the morning, feeding the baby goats. She didn't want anything to do with feeding the big goats, so Chris would distract the big goats so that Abigail could feed the babies.

On the hayride with Mama. Isaac slept through the hayride but that was good thing...he was pooped! Abigail thought the hayride was fun at first, but then after 15 min on th hayride, she said, "This is not fun." She had a good time though.

Isaac was trying to eat the hay, fortunately big sister was near by to keep him from doing that.

Then tonight we went to a picnic, although a cold picnic, with a small group of people from church & Abigail spent the whole time on a trampoline. What a fun Saturday :)
